This project aims to develop an alternative logistics solution to road transport, using the river to streamline the movement of goods in the \u00cele-de-France region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading title has-text-primary is-size-3-desktop is-size-4-touch\">A container shuttle to connect the north and south of the \u00cele-de-France region<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-justified\">The planned service is based on a regular river shuttle for import\/export containers between :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-text-justified\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Gennevilliers<\/strong> (Hauts-de-Seine), a major 25-hectare logistics platform operated by Paris Terminal, located 10 km north-west of Paris<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Bonneuil-sur-Marne<\/strong> (Val-de-Marne), a strategic site operated by Terminaux de Seine for logistics services in the south of the \u00cele-de-France region<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-justified\">Initially, the shuttle will offer :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-text-justified\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\">A capacity of 54 EVP per rotation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>One rotation per week<\/strong>, with the potential to increase to three rotations depending on demand<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading title has-text-primary is-size-3-desktop is-size-4-touch\">Greater flexibility for shippers and logistics providers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-justified\">The river shuttle between Gennevilliers and Bonneuil also offers direct operational benefits for economic players :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-text-justified\">\n<li>14 days' free parking for containers passing through Bonneuil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flexibility in managing warehouse entries and exits, thanks to more regular flows<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reduced dependence on road transport, which is often restricted in densely populated areas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>More reliable delivery times, less exposed to traffic hazards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>CO2 emissions reduced by a factor of 3<\/strong> compared to road transport<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-justified\">This river-based alternative thus secures logistics chains while optimising transport organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading title has-text-primary is-size-3-desktop is-size-4-touch\">The river, a strategic lever for logistics in the Paris region<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-justified\">With this AMI, Paris Terminal and Terminaux de Seine reaffirm the strategic role of river transport in serving the Paris region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-justified\">By connecting Gennevilliers and Bonneuil-sur-Marne by waterway, the project illustrates the river's capacity to :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-text-justified\">\n<li>Effectively connect major logistics hubs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Offer concrete modal shift solutions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the evolution of logistics practices towards more sustainable models<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lancement d\u2019une navette fluviale conteneur entre Gennevilliers et Bonneuil-sur-Marne Paris Terminal et Terminaux de Seine lancent un appel \u00e0 manifestation d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat (AMI) pour la mise en place d\u2019un service fluvial&#8230; <a class=\"read-more\" href=\"https:\/\/douglas-humblot.fr\/en\/actualites\/une-nouvelle-navette-fluviale-pour-l-ile-de-france\/\">Read more<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":88,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"inline_featured_image":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[8],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-actualites"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
